Run the trip. Skip the admin.

Golf trips are simple — until you're the one running them.

Hand-drawn banner of a golf trip in full swing

Twelve blokes, four days, someone's lost the scorecard by Tuesday and nobody can agree who's buying. Every trip has an organiser, and every organiser ends up doing admin instead of drinking.

A Trip Pass hands that over. You set the days and send everyone a link. They play; the app scores it, tallies it, and settles the arguments.

What you get

A write-up of the day's carnage whenever you call for it, ready to read out in the bar. At the end of it, a full account of the whole trip — the fines and the names, all handed out.

  • A write-up of each day, whenever you call for it
  • The end-of-trip reckoning — fines and titles, settled.
  • Monikers your guests keep — the names they earned stick with them.
  • Guest links — one tap in, no app, no account, no cost to them.

And if it's a stag do, the best man gets material written from what actually happened out there — everything the groom did, in a form you can stand up and read.

One pass, one trip

Up to ten days and eleven guests, plus you. Your guests don't need the app, don't need an account, and don't pay a thing — they just get a link, and afterwards they keep the titles they earned.

£50

One trip, start to finish — and it includes three months of Dog Shot Golf, so you're a full member for the trip and the couple of months after, while the guests are claiming their badges and the write-ups are still doing the rounds.

Already a Club Member? You get 20% off automatically at checkout — that's 20% off, connected to your membership. Nothing to find, nothing to type.

The Organiser's Guide

The short version: you get everyone playing. The app does the scoring, the arguing, the fines and the write-up. You carry the group; the Trip Pass carries the admin.

What you're actually buying

A Trip Pass turns a weekend of golf into a proper competition with a story at the end. You — the organiser — run the whole thing from your phone. Everyone plays, every round counts toward the trip, and when it's over there's a full write-up, a set of fines and titles handed out, and — if it's a stag — a best man's speech built from what actually happened on the course.

One pass covers one trip — this one, start to finish, for everyone on it. It doesn't renew and it doesn't expire: you buy it, you run your trip, and the pass is spent on that trip. (Planning two? That's two passes.)

Only one person needs to buy anything: you. Anyone with the app joins by name; up to eleven guests don't even need it — tap Get a group link, drop it in the chat, and each of them types their own name to take a seat.

What the price includes

The price includes three months of the app, so you're a fully paid-up member for the trip and a couple of months after. Those three months are exactly that: when they're up, carrying on as a member is your call — the trip you ran stays yours either way.

Already a Club Member? It's 20% off. The discount comes off automatically at checkout — nothing to find, nothing to type.

One price, one trip, the whole group covered.

Before the trip: set it up

  1. Create the trip and name it — the tour, the stag, whatever it's called in the group chat.
  2. Set the days — up to ten. A Saturday and Sunday, a long weekend in Portugal, a ten-day tour if that's the plan. Ten rounds is the most one pass covers, so if you're eyeing a fortnight, that's the number to know before you pay.
  3. Add the lads. Anyone with the app joins by name. For everyone else, tap Get a group link and drop it in the chat — one link, and each of them types their own name to take a seat, up to eleven. Copy it when it appears; it's only shown once, and New link gets you a fresh one whenever you want, killing the old one and any QR of it. At the course, Show QR for the first tee turns the same link into a code you can hold up or print. Add guest is still there for anyone you'd rather name yourself — and it's the only way to set a pronoun or mark someone able to keep the card. People who join themselves aren't ticked as scorers, so watch the count under the card. No account, no sign-up. They pick up their own nicknames as they play.

You can do all of this on a laptop the week before, sat with a beer and the group chat open. Nothing has to happen on the first tee.

On the day: groups and Mums

When it's time to play, Shuffle into groups. The app splits everyone into playing groups for the day.

Every group gets a Mum — the one who holds the phone and does the scoring for that group. It's not a punishment; it's just whoever's got signal and a free hand. The Mum logs the round for the group as you go round.

If a group's slow off the mark, you can nudge its Mum — Remind [name] — one at a time. You're prodding the actual straggler, not spamming the whole trip.

Who's in, who's out

Not everyone plays every day. Someone's hungover, someone's got a work call, someone's simply gone. You mark it, per day:

  • Excused — no fine. For the lad genuinely sitting one out. No round, no penalty.
  • Shirked — Lord Lucan. For the one who vanished without a word. The app remembers, and the fine follows.

That distinction is the whole point: the app keeps the trip honest, so you don't have to be the one playing bad guy.

The rounds run themselves

Everyone plays, each group scores its own round, and every round of every day rolls up into one place. You never chase a scorecard, re-add a total, or settle an argument about who was actually worst. It's all there, live, as it happens.

The payoff

When the trip's done, here's what you're holding:

  • Fines and titles — earned by what happens out there, including the rare, specific ones for the disasters nobody's going to live down.
  • The Trip write-up — the whole trip told back to you as a story, the way it deserves to be remembered. Don't like the take? Write it again for another one.
  • The best man's speech (stag dos) — built from what actually happened out there, ready to read out with a pint in hand.

Everyone keeps their trip

And it isn't only yours. Everyone who played gets their own — the titles they earned, the badges they picked up, the write-ups of their rounds. Tell them to open their link when they get home: that's all it takes to claim it, and from then on it's theirs to keep. The trip doesn't evaporate for the eleven people who were on it — each just opens their link and pockets their piece of it.

Why it beats a group chat and a spreadsheet

Because it keeps itself. No shared note that three people edit and one deletes. No spreadsheet nobody updates after round two. One link, one source of truth, and a story at the end that a spreadsheet was never going to give you.

Grab a Trip Pass, and the only thing left for you to organise is the taxis.
